The Darwyn and Pauline Young Family DARWYN YOUNG, SR. Darwyn Young Sr., 91, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 1991, at the Cedars Health Center, after a brief illness. He was a native of Itawamba County and lived in the Mt. Vernon Community for 46 years. He was a retired farmer and founder and former owner of the Two Sisters Dress Shop. He was a member of Belden United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Robbins Young in 1989 and a daughter, Joyce Comer in 1991. Services will be a 1p.m. Saturday from the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. Ron Stephens and the Rev. Glenn Wiygul officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Survivors include three daughter, Jean Summers of Belden, Ann Rodgers of Lauie, Washington and Carolyn Davidson of Hatley; four sons, Joe Young of Memphis, J. D. Young, Jr and Robin Young, both of Tupelo and Paul Young of Biloxi; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
