The Darwyn and Pauline Young Family MRS YOUNG DIES AT NMMC Was a Native of Itawamba County Mrs. Annis Young, 88, died Monday at 2:30 a.m. at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an illness of one week. She was a resident of the Mt. Vernon community. she was a native of Itawamba County and was a member of the Belden United Methodist Church. She married Joseph Fletcher Young, who died in 1924. Services will be at 2 p. m. today at the funeral chapel of W. E. Pegues with burin in Spring Hill Cemetery. Rev. Roy Mc Alilly will officiate assisted by Rev. Paul Young. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. She leaves two sons, Darwyn Young of Mt. Vernon, Durell Young of Saltillo; one daughter, Mrs. E. Q. Smith of Tupelo; one brother, Clovis Hendrick of Mantachie, 15 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Source: Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal |
