CHRISTINE DAVIDSON FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
September 19, 2008 — Mrs. Christine Davidson, mother of Jesse Davidson, died Thursday, September 18, 2008. Visitation will be at Pickle Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 with funeral at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. The funeral will be held at East Amory Baptist Church with burial in Springhill Cemetery. The Young family offers our deepest sympathy to Jesse, Carolyn, and the family. Continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
FAMILY CONCERNS
September 19, 2008 — Lee Ann Davidson's dad, Wilbur Todd, had heart bypass surgery today at Northeast MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He had four bypasses and is in CCU at this time. He came through the surgery well and he has a good prognosis.
Janice Young's dad is still in CCU at Northeast Medical Center. In addition to his other health problems, he has been diagnosed with chronic renal disease and is on dialysis.

WANDA FARRIS HAS BIRTHDAY
September 10, 2008 — Wanda Comer Farris was treated to a surprise 50th birthday party on Sunday, Aug. 10. The party was held in the gym at Bethel Church. Mae Comer, Ruth Ann Rogers, and Sondra Sheffield decorated the gym with black and white 50 birthday decorations. They also had interesting facts about things that happened 50 years ago. A delicious supper was served and they had cake and homemade ice cream for dessert. There were about forty to fifty people in attendance. Wanda was very surprised and had a good time celebrating her birthday. On Tuesday, August 12, which was Wanda’s real birthday and also her 30th year at Comer's, Wanda was treated to another birthday cake and a sign hanging in the restaurant, marking both big events.
ASHLEY GREEN-YOUNG HAS SURGERY
September 10, 2008 — Ashley Green-Young had an appendectomy on Saturday, September 6, 2008. She was able to go home on Sunday and is doing well.
GET WELL WISHES
September 6, 2008 — David Summers had shoulder surgery August 26, 2008. He will have rehab for several weeks.
Janice Young (wife of Tony) had back surgery this summer. She will be able to return to work soon.
CONGRATULATIONS
September 6, 2008 — Roman Gabriel Serpaty was born September 2, 2008. He weighed 6 lbs. Jessica and Ididia Serpaty are his parents. Sandy and Brett are Roman’s grandparents and Ann Sterling is his great-grandmother.
OTHER NEWS
September 6, 2008 — David Young, son of Becky and Chris, participated in High School Band Day at Mississippi State University on Saturday, September 6, 2008. There were 73 high schools from four states who participated in the Band Day and marched with the Maroon Band during halftime festivities.
DAVID SUMMERS TO HAVE SURGERY
August 18, 2008 — David Summers will be having shoulder surgery, to remove bone spurs and re-attach rotator cuffs, on August 26, 2008. The surgery will be a one day out-patient procedure, but the bad news is the recovery time will be 6 to 8 weeks with a lot of pain and rehab.
