STEVE & TONYA YOUNG ENJOY CALIFORNIA VACATION
November 27, 2007—Steve and Tonya recently returned from a trip out West. They spent four days in Yosemite National Park, and four days in the wine country of the Sonoma Valley. Steve thinks that the Yosemite Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and Tonya enthusiastically agrees. To see some pictures from their trip, click here.
JESSE DAVIDSON RECOVERING AT HOME
November 20, 2007—Jesse Davidson is recovering at home after spending several days in the Northeast Mississippi Medical Center following his heart attack last week. Our wishes and support continue to be with him and Carolyn.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
November 20, 2007—Hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Our family has so much to be thankful for. The family continues to grow with several new babies born this year. We are so fortunate to have a loving, supportive family unit. We are thankful for the parents and grandparents who gave us, and continue to give us, good teaching and a strong love for family.
NEW BABIES
November 20, 2007—Evan Young Summers, son of Mark and Amanda Summers was born in Tupelo, MS on Tuesday, November 20. He weighed 7 lb 11 oz. Grandparents are David and Janice Summers and Jerry and Doris Pitts. Lincoln is the big brother.
Katlyn Gail Comer, daughter of Doug and Neely Comer was born in Amory, MS on Tuesday,
November 20. Grandparents are Doug and Mae Comer and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Riley.
Congratulations to both families on the new arrivals. We wish them all the best.
UPCOMING DATES
November 20, 2007—Be sure and mark you calendar for the family events of the Christmas holidays:
*** The Comer Christmas will be held on December 16 (Sunday) at Comer's Restuarant in Dorsey. Santa Claus will make his annual appearance to give out gifts for the children (if you have children to receive a gift, be sure to bring one to put under the tree for Santa to give them) and to hear the children's request for Christmas. Bring a dish and come and celebrate with the family for lunch.
*** The Annual Young Family Christmas will be held at noon on Christmas Day at J. D. and Jan Young's in Tupelo. We expect a large number of people this year so it should, as always, be a lot of fun, food, and fellowship.
ROBBIE & TROY COMER WELCOME A NEW ADDITION
October 1, 2007—Robbie and Troy Comer have a new addition to their family. Mollie Jo Comer was born September 25, 2007. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 19 1/4" long.
