BILL STERLING HAS SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR ANN
September 29, 2007—Bill had a surprise birthday party for Ann at the
Marketplace restaurant in Conway, AR. About 20 of their friends met, with
balloons, gifts, and cakes, to celebrate Ann's birthday. Ann was really
surprised. One of the ladies had made a delicious German chocolate cake.
Paul and Laura were staying in Conway on their way to Tulsa, OK and were
able to be at the party. It was a really good evening, enjoyed by all.
SARAH YOUNG ON GYMNASTICS SQUAD
September 25, 2007—GymSouth in Vicksburg, MS has announced their 2007-2008 team. Sarah Young, daughter of Chris and Becky, is a member of the team. Congratulations Sarah and best wishes for a successful year!. (Sarah is on the back row, far-left.)
LAURA YOUNG STEPS BACK IN TIME AT GOSPEL JUBILEE
September 25, 2007—Laura Young's church choir presented a Gospel Jubilee on Sunday night, September 16. They were
supposed to dress in the spirit of the night. The collar and gloves belonged to her mother and the fan belonged to her
grandmother LeCornu had. The pin she's wearing was Annis Young's.
They had a lot of fun presenting the program and getting to "dress up." The
sanctuary was filled and everyone enjoyed the program.
JESSICA MICHEL APPEARS ON MAG COVER
August 2, 2007—Jessica Michel, daughter of Sandy and Brett Michel and granddaughter of Ann Rodgers Sterling, is featured on the cover of the August/September issue of Justine magazine. Jessica, who has been modeling for the Dillards department store chain, is also featured in several pages inside the magazine, modeling several back-to-school outfits.

BRAD & ROBYN RODGERS WELCOME A NEW ADDITION
July 12, 2007—There's a new addition to the Brad & Robyn Rodgers family. Carly Marie Rodgers was born on July 6 at 1:35 a. m. She was 7 pounds 12 ounces and 19 inches long. Click to view all the newborns. (Folder 15)
CHRIS & BECKY YOUNG MOVE TO VICKSBURG
July 2, 2007—The Youngs (Chris, Becky, David and Sarah) completed their move to Vicksburg on June 26. They had to wait three hours longer than expected on the arrival of the movers. Their house is very nice and they are happy the move is completed.
KEVIN YOUNG VISITED IN MISSISSIPPI
July 4, 2007—Kevin Young visited with his grandmother, Mrs. McDonald in Alabama and with J. D. And Jan in Mississippi June 21-June 24. On Friday, June 22, thirty-seven family members and extended family members gathered at Comer’s restaurant for supper and to visit with Kevin.
PAUL AND LAURA YOUNG IN NORTH CAROLINA
July 4, 2007—Paul and Laura Young are in Lake Junluska, North Carolina for the months of July and August. They arrived on Sunday, July 1, and will return to Starkville for the week of July 22 when Brian, Ashley, Mary and Matthew visit in Mississippi. They will then return to Lake Junluska until August 31.
LYNN SMITH DIES
July 4, 2007—Lynn Smith, wife of Kenneth, died in Memphis July 1, 2007. Funeral services were held at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch on Tuesday, July 3, 2007. Our sympathy and support goes out to Kenneth and the family in the death of Lynn.
