He married Annis Erle Hendrickon 12 October 1902 at the home of the bride. She was born 28 May 1885. She died 13 May 1974 in Lee County Mississippi. Both are buried in the Springhill Cemetery in Lee County Mississippi. Some history on Joseph Fletcher Young and Annis Earl Hendrick: Joseph's nickname was Joe. He spent his life as a farmer in Lee and Itawamba County Mississippi. He died of tuberculosis at age 43. After his death Annis lived with her son Jessie Darwyn until her death.
